Seven indicators of fascism:

1.Denial of basic human equality   The chief criteria of equality in the Western tradition are man's mind and soul, whereas the fascist affirmation of inequality is based ultimately on strength.

2. Opposition to international law and order   "Any type of international organization assumes some form of government by consent, which is directly contradictory to the fascist principle of government by force....Fascist states, therefore, shy away from international organizations in which they are expected to abide by majority decisions and in which government is is carried on by methods of discussion rather than force.

3. Distrust of reason  Pyschologically, fascism is fanatical rather than reflective, dogmatic rather then open-minded; as a result each fascist regime has its taboo issues such as race, empire, the leader, and it is the nature of a taboo issue that it must be accepted on faith and cannot be critically discussed.

4. Code of behavior based on lies and violence  The fascist knows only enemies, not opponents, and since enemies represent evil incarnate, total annihilation is the only solution.

5. Government by elite

7. Racism and imperialism   Within the nation, fascist  doctrine holds, the elite is superior to the rest and may impose its will upon them  by force. Similarly, between nations the elite nation is superior to others and is entitled to rule them.

This is a place where only working people are taxed. The rich don't have to pay taxes anymore. It's a place where our "president" runs and hides while terrorists attack and later takes political advantage of the ensuing mass hysteria to cynically force his own, narrow, partisan agenda through the congress. It's a place where our "president" can lie with out fear that the press will take him to task. It's a place where our "president" can lie us into an unnecessary war and the so-called opposition party is too timid to tell him "NO, we won't support any wars until you tell us the REAL REASONS for it" for fear that someone might question their patriotism. It's a place where the ruling party has completely abandoned all pretense of responsible governance, saddled future generations with debt, and fully expects to be re-elected simply because the press won't tell the truth on them and the people who would protest are herded like cattle so far away from the action that there's no chance that the press will even have to report it.
